Q: Who/what is Monkiddo?
A: Hi, we are Monkiddo, a vibrant universe where Monster Kiddos dive into the daily grind of work, showcasing the stories of the workplace and Asian working culture through our Web comics and animations.
MonKiddo is a registered trademark and copyrighted IP (Intellectual Property) that is co-owned by artist, Jayee Lim and iNCH LAB.
Q: Who is Jayee?
A: Hello there! My name is Jayee, and I'm an illustrator and art director hailing from Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. I'm extremely passionate about creating vibrant and fantastical monster illustrations, and I've been fortunate enough to bring them to life through my series called Monkiddo.
Q: What’s your impression about Heehee Cafe Concept Store?
A: We discovered Heehee through their Instagram account, and it immediately captured our attention. The vibrant use of color, cohesive branding, and the delightful mascot perfectly complement the concept of their café. It's a refreshing departure from any other café we've seen. Heehee exudes a fun, intriguing, and exciting vibe, making it an ideal collaborator. We are thrilled to see how our character IP will seamlessly integrate with their store!
Q: What this collaboration means to you?
A: This is our very first collaboration with another mascot, something we haven't done before! I love how the chemistry and color synergy between our two brands blend together, making the key visual one of my proudest works. It's also exciting to see the different variations of merchandise being released as part of this collaboration.
